The Makers’ Movement Market focuses on encouraging and supporting entrepreneurs in the development and advancement of their business. Welcoming unestablished ventures as well as rooted businesses to participate in this market at no cost provides the opportunity for minorities, senior-citizens, and even children to progress their economic capacity, promote sustainability & self-confidence, and perfect professional practices. By establishing standards of operations, professional relationships, mentorships, and having the occasion to put these items into practice, each entrepreneur can experience a lifetime of economic independence, while strengthening the community’s overall commerce. Kasheta Farms is proud to present agricultural activities and experiences exclusively to our adolescent spectrum community and their families to benefit and advocate for their quality of life and promote overall respect and understanding. By exclusively inviting our community’s spectrum families to the farm, they will have the opportunity to connect with each other and special guests as well as interact with farm animals and participate in other related activities in an outdoor, hands-on, and embracing environment. This is a free program!

Strengthening the comprehension & literacy development of elementary students in our school district.

Kasheta Farms is proud to present monthly readings and related literacy activities to our elementary school students to promote lifelong learning and build fundamental skills. By inviting special guests, teachers, and community leaders to be readers, both students and parents/guardians alike will have the opportunity to interact, learn, and flourish their quality of life both personally, domestically, and economically. This is a free program!

Nestled in the heart of suburban Orange County, Apopka, our day-camp offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and the convenience of being right next door to neighborhoods and all the major access roads. We embark on  horseback rides and learn the art of horse care, grooming, and riding techniques in a safe and supportive environment.

Get your hands dirty in our building workshops, where campers have the opportunity to design and construct various projects. From woodworking to crafting, campers unleash their creativity and develop valuable skills.

Discover the joy of raising chicks in our farmyard. Learn about animal care, feeding, and the lifecycle of these adorable creatures. Witness firsthand the wonder of new life as you care for and nurture your fluffy friends.

SUMMER CAMP WITH POWER TEENS USA

For a second year, we have teamed up with local teen and pre-teen program called Power Teens USA to provide a week-long summer camp experience for at risk and endangered children within our community.  This year, we are tackling a major renovation of our duck pond with the kids, teaching them how to ride and care for horses, and continuing last year's fishing adventures! Thanks to collaborating partners like Open Heart Farms and Mission Fishing, we are able to host a variety of activities and teach valuable life and personal skills.

This year's week of summer camp is sponsored by Advent Health, Florida Coast Equipment, and Publix!

 On an annual basis during the month of October, the farm hosts its most popular event: a month-long pumpkin. patch and autumn celebration to provide the community with an affordable and exciting “fall festival” experience, concluded with a Halloween Party with trick-or-treating and a movie on the big screen! Admission is free!

On an annual basis, the farm hosts a Christmas tree stand filled with a variety of trees, poinsettias, photo-opp spots, and winter wonderland celebration to provide the community with an affordable holiday experience. Admission is free!
